Ever since it has been reported that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 will be released this December, fans of the famous animated TV series are already asking for the exact air date of the season premiere. Moreover, creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon revealed some possible appearances on the cartoon series.

According to a report, there has been no confirmation about the release date but many speculated based on the timeline that was presented by the production.

During a panel for "Rick and Morty" seven months ago, series co-creator Dan Harmon revealed that more episodes of Rick and Morty would come to Cartoon Network later this year.

"I think Season 3 is-we're targeting around the end of this year... You guys do realize we're at the beginning of this year?" the co-creator said.

Moreover, last year during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the other co-creator, Roiland said they're somewhat already starting the season 3.

"I've been jotting ideas down, yeah. Nothing super fleshed out, but there are definitely little seeds," he said.

To add excitement to the fans, Harmon revealed some possible plot story or characters to appear in the "Rick and Morty" season 3.

"I rewatched both seasons a couple nights ago, and now I'm excited about revisiting stuff in season three because I was so phobic about revisiting stuff in season two," the co-creator said. "Now, we can fade in on [arcade] Blips and Chitz because we've already proven that the show isn't going to start eating itself, and that will feel even more limitless if we go back to a couple things that we really enjoyed doing."

He also revealed the possible re-appearance of Mr. Meeseeks in the upcoming season.

"I'm going to make that a personal promise to myself. (Laughs.) I'm going to force Mr. Meeseeks into season three," he reportedly said.

Adult Swim network renewed "Rick and Morty" season 3 for 14 episodes and it is reportedly expected to premiere by December 2, 2016.
