Both the Xiaomi Redmi 3S and the Motorola Moto G4 Plus are each other's competitors due to their excellent features under the hood like Snapdragon chipset, huge battery, huge RAM capacity, powerful camera, and much more. Below, we have highligted the specs of the two smartphones.

To start with, the Xiaomi Redmi 3S sports a metallic chassis and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor whereas the Moto G4 Plus features a plastic chassis along with a fingerprint scanner incorporated onto the front panel. In terms of display, the Motorola device sports a 5.5-inch screen with IPS LCD display and 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution panel. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Redmi device consists of a 5-inch screen with an LCD display panel and 720 x 1280 pixels resolution.

When it comes to the performance-related specs, the Moto G4 Plus features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chipset along with different RAM and internal storage capacity. It consists of 16 GB storage variant with 2 GB RAM or 32 GB variant with 3 GB RAM or 64 GB option with 4 GB RAM. While the Xiaomi Redmi 3S is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage capacity.

Furthermore, the Motorola smartphone excels with a 16-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel camera with additional features like phase detection & laser autofocus, and dual-LED flash whereas the Xiaomi Redmi consists of a 13-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front camera.

As far as the battery specs are concerned, the Xiaomi device consists of a better battery with its 4,100 mAh capacity. On the other hand, the Moto G4 Plus sports a 3,000 mAh battery with fast charging functionality. Besides, the two flagship devices run on the latest Android v6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system with Android Pay and customized Google Chrome browser options.  

Lastly, the Motorola phone is priced for around $202, whereas the Xiaomi model is touted to be the pocket-friendly option with a price tag of $156.

To sum up, the Motorola G4 is the better option than the Xiaomi Redmi 3S with an enhanced processor, huge battery, excellent camera, and storage capacity.
