Google Nexus 6P users who are looking for an upgrade now might immediately turn to the latest Pixel models. Still, there are other choices which might surpass the former, namely the iPhone 7 and the Huawei Mate 9. Let's compare the trio.

The Nexus 6P and the Huawei Mate 9 feature similar display with huge 5.7" and 5.9" screens, respectively. The iPhone 7 has the smallest screen with comparatively lesser resolution with 4.7" display. Among all, the Nexus 6P has best resolution among all.

In terms of battery, the Huawei Mate 9 has a bigger battery with 4000 mAH than the Nexus 6P's 3450mAH, followed by the iPhone 7's 1960 mAH battery.

The Huawei brand leads the photography round with stunning dual 20MP + 12MP (2160p) camera. Contrastingly, nexus 6P have a 12 MP (2160p) rear camera and iPhone 7 have 12 MP camera. Nexus 6P and Mate 9 come with rear dual-LED dual tone Flash while iPhone7 has quad-LED dual tone FLASH. The trio have similar front cameras.

All three phones have the fingerprint sensors.

The Huawei device runs on the latest Android Nougat, while the Apple phone comes with iOS 10. The Google variant follows as it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Summing up, the Huawei Mate 9 is a better upgrade for the users of Nexus 6P within the premium phone segment. However, the iPhone 7, is the latest offering from Apple, offers a fresh start with iOS, still impressive power, and shutterbug-friendly camera.
