Samsung is considered as one of the tech leaders in launching smartwatches worldwide. To maintain their spot, the South Korean company is expected to release Samsung Gear S3 next week.

One of the anticipated features that consumers have been talking about Samsung's upcoming smartwatch is Gear S3's capability to place payment transactions. Reports are that Samsung created a way that debit cards and credit cards can be tapped and swiped on the watch to make purchases.

Putting a Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) payment capability in Gear S3 is a move that Samsung implemented to provide their consumers competitive products in the market. The company will also launch Samsung Pay in Australia, Singapore, and the USA next week, Indian express reported.

"The immensely intelligent Gear S3 is a testament to our focus on evolving and leading the wearables category and ultimately delivering a smartwatch unlike any other on the market," said Younghee Lee, Executive Vice President of Global Marketing and Wearable Business, Mobile Communications Business at Samsung Electronics.

"A significant addition to our smartwatch portfolio, we drew inspiration from classic watch manufacturers to offer consumers a premium timepiece," Lee added.

The upcoming Samsung Gear 3 series has two different versions. Consumers can choose either the Gear S3 Frontier or the Gear S3 Classic. Samsung's newest smartwatches have differences in their connectivity features.

According to GSM Arena, Samsung Gear S3 Classic will only work via Wi-Fi/Bluetooth while Gear S3 frontier has an optional LTE connectivity. Both smartwatches have built-in GPS to accurately support users in tracking their running activities.

Samsung's newest watch offering have heart rate sensors and IP68 waterproof system. Frontier is designed with a rugged look while the Classic watch is more in a minimalist design. Samsung Gear S3 series also has a built-in speaker.

This coming November 18, the Samsung Gear S3 duo will be available in UK, France, Germany, the US, Australia, Dubai, and Singapore. Sale promotions regarding its launching will differ in every area.
