'The Sims 4: City Living' Careers Guide: How To Become An Internet Celebrity With The Social Media Career
J RoseWant to be the next PewDiePie, or maybe get really famous and have lots of followers on the Internet? The new Internet Personality career in "The Sims 4: City Living" can get you closer to your dreams. Here's how to become an online celebrity in "The Sims 4."
Social Media Career Paths
The new social media career option allows your Sim to become an individual with a strong social media presence. The great thing about this career is that you can work from home, a new feature included in the "City Living" expansion.
Your Sim will start out as a Media Intern and would need to choose paths at level four.
Important Skills
At level four, you will now need to build the appropriate skills to work your way up the ladder. Here are the necessary skills and their levels:
Video Gaming: Level 7
Charisma: Level 8
Mischief or Comedy: Level 7
How To Gain More Followers
Now you're ready to become a star, at least online. This is where it could get tricky, as your progression relies heavily on the number of followers you should have.
Here are a few things you can do to gain more followers.
Livestreaming a Video Game (at Level 5)- The longer you play a particular game, the more followers you will gain
Start Funny Meme (at Level 6) - The higher your comedy skill the funnier your meme is, obviously. This will give you thousands of followers if done right
Stream Let's Plays (at Level 8) - Invest in a video gaming console and let the world watch you play, and nab a million followers in the process.
Upload Viral Video and Charity Stream (at Level 9) - These interactions will also give you almost a million new followers
How To Earn Simoleons Using The Internet Personality Path
The daily wage may be lower compared to other careers, but you can gain big bucks by Advertising, you know, just like real life.
Doing so will make you lose a lot of followers, but don't worry, it's easy to get them back, and the thousands of Simoleons you will get will still be worth it.
