NBA Trade Rumors: Golden State Warriors Swapping Andre Iguodala With Los Angeles Lakers' Julius Randle?

Amidst the latest NBA trade rumors that the Golden State Warriors might their swap star player Klay Thompson, it is now suggested that the team might trade their shooting guard Andre Iguodala instead. It is rumored that the Los Angeles Lakers seem to be interested in the deal and are expected to send their power forward Julius Randle to bring in Iguodala.

It was reported that the Warriors are currently facing cap space issues in order to fit the recently acquired top-notch player Kevin Durant. Reports suggested that in order to solve their problem, the Warriors might send away one of their key players, which according to the current trade rumors is Iguodala. The NBA trade rumors suggested that the 32-year-old player will become a free agent in 2017 and thus, the team's management is looking forward to trading him before the deadline.

Furthermore, it is stated that the Golden State Warriors want to further upgrade their roster in order to provide tough competition to the Cleveland Cavaliers team. Reports claimed that adding Randle will help the Warriors to enhance their defensive gameplay in the frontcourt.

Nonetheless, few reports stated that the Warriors might also receive Nick Young or Lou Williams from the Los Angeles Lakers instead of Randle

On the other hand, a few reports hinted that the Los Angeles Lakers are also planning to rebuild their team and hence, might plan to bring in Iguodala onto their roster. The NBA trade rumors suggested that Iguodala will provide the Lakers with excellent offensive skills, which will help them to put up high scores on the board in the upcoming NBA season.
