The iPhone 7 is a high-range device by Apple which has specs quite comparable to the Motorola Moto M. Let's have them face to face and see how they fair against each other.

The iPhone 7 has a 4.7-inch screen with IPS LCD Retina display and 750 x 1334 pixels resolution. It also comes with the 3D Touch functionality. Moto M has a 5.5-inch screen, HD resolution, and multi-touch capacity. Moto M also puts Super AMOLED touchscreen to use.

Talking about their processors, the iPhone 7 brandishes an A10 Fusion quad-core chipset alongside 2 GB RAM and internal storage of 128 GB. Motorola, on the other hand, comes with a MediaTek Helio P15 processor combined with quad-core 2.2Ghz CPU. The Moto M accompanies 32GB internal space and 4GB RAM.

In the camera aspect, the iPhone 7 includes a 12-megapixel dual back camera and 7-megapixel front camera alongside extra components like optical image stabilization (OIS) and a bright LED flash, which lets you capture dynamic pictures. Motorola Moto M, on the other hand, has a powerful 16MP primary camera with LED flash and autofocus; the front snapper sparkles with 8MP.

The battery is a factor that really distinguishes these two phones here. A phone with a powerful processor and bright display needs a large battery. The iPhone 7 has a 1960 mAH battery which can last a day with moderate use. Moto M wins big in the battery segment. It has a 3050mAH battery which can easily go through a day or more with moderate usage.

In the end, pricing, and the preference of operating systems can be the deciding factor between these two smartphones. But if you're after strong specs that go head to head with the iPhone 7 at a much lower price, then the Motorolo Moto M might be the phone for you.
