NBA Trade Rumors: Minnesota Timberwolves Eyeing Chicago Bulls Jimmy Butler?

The latest NBA trade rumors suggested that the Minnesota Timberwolves might enter into a deal with the Chicago Bulls. Reports claimed that the deal is expected to involve the trade of Bulls' shooting guard Jimmy Butler and small forward Luol Deng to the Timberwolves in exchange for few young players.

iSport Times reported that the Minnesota Timberwolves is planning to rebuild their roster owing to their poor performance in the current NBA season. Reports touted that the Timberwolves head coach Tom Thibodeau is keen on bringing in few talented players onto their roster, which will help the team to enhance their gameplay and thus, win a number of matches in the season.

According to the NBA trade rumors, Thibodeau's inclination to reshuffle the team's lineup has paved the way for the possible entry of Bulls' Butler and Deng. Rumors hinted that the duo will provide the Timberwolves with excellent offensive and defensive skills, which will help the team to put up high scores on the board in the NBA season.

To add on to that, Butler has an average of 25.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game while Deng has an average 6.8 points per game. Both the players are expected to assist the Minnesota Timberwolves to up their gameplay.

Besides, it is touted that Thibodeau is trying hard to bring the Minnesota Timberwolves back on track with a winning streak, which will help them to dominate other teams in the Eastern Conference and thus, make the Timberwolves ready for the upcoming playoffs.

Nevertheless, there is still no official word on which set of players Thibodeau is willing to let go off. Also, none of the teams have commented on the rumored trade scenario comprising of Jimmy Butler and Luol Deng.
