PrakashCoolpad is all set to release it's latest Note 3S and Mega 3 smartphones at an event on 30 November. Let's dig in on the expectations.
Recently, media invites has been sent by Coolpad for a launch event. The upcoming smartphones are reported to be the successor to the Note 3 and the Mega 2.5D which were launch last year. Both smartphones are expected to be budget devices and cost in the range of Rs 10,000.
There were no leaks and rumors regarding the upcoming devices. But the specifications are expected to be similar to the predecessors.
In terms of display, Coolpad is expected to come up with the newly set standard of 5.5-inch HD display and come with dual-SIM and 4G VoLTE support. It is similar to the Coolpad Note 3S and the Coolpad Mega 2.5D.
The big highlight on the Coolpad Note 3s and Mega 3 is touted to be the Dual Space system that was first seen on the Coolpad Max. It enables users to have two accounts of WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger, and other apps on the same phone.
Apart from budget MediaTek processors both smartphones are expected to feature 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage similar to the its previous smarpthones.
We can base our expectations for the Coolpad Note 3S and Mega 3 on the recently announced Note 5 which sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display with 2.5D curved glass, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be further expanded using a microSD card. There is a 13MP rear camera with an LED flash as well as an 8MP front facing camera along with an LED flash to fill in light for your selfies.
Earlier, Coolpad phones have been Amazon India exclusive, and the same is expected with the Note 3S and Mega.
