Japanese game developing and publishing company Capcom has announced that it has decided to delay the release of its upcoming action game "DmC: Devil May Cry," until 2013. The game was previously expected to be released this year.
The new date for the release of the game, which has been developed by Ninja Theory, has now been altered to January 15, 2013, when it will arrive on both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The company has also assured that the game will arrive on PC later in 2013.
The newer title is expected to be worked upon a little more by the developers before it finally hits the stands in January next year, according to a Gamesradar report.
"DmC: Devil May Cry" is set in a parallel universe in the Devil May Cry series. The story portrays the story of teenager Dante and his journey through the fictitious Limbo City. Although the city seems peaceful at first, it later transforms into a hell with demons and monsters frequently trying to kill him whenever he is caught in the sight of the city cameras.
Although Dante is mainly in human form, the character will have access to his angel and demon powers that broaden the options of attacks. This change is represented by the fact that Dante's black hair changes to white during a sequence of combos.
The Limbo city's structure, itself, changes several times across the game, giving the player puzzles in order to advance.
