iPad Pro 2 Rumors: March 2017 Release Date On The Cards? Device To Sport A10 Chipset And OLED Display?
Dheeraj RThe latest rumors about the upcoming Apple iPad Pro 2 suggested that the device might be released in March 2017 during the company's next event. Reports hinted that the new iPad Pro will be the company's premium tablet with new specs and features like A10 processor, huge screen, OLED display panel, and much more, which will differentiate the device from its predecessors.
Trusted Reviews reported that Apple might launch the device in early 2017 with two million iPad Pro 2 units initially. Besides, it is reported that the quantity is expected to be raised to between five and six million units throughout the entire year. However, there is no official confirmation on the same as of now.
According to the rumors, the Cupertino-based company is expected to launch the iPad Pro 2 in three different variants of 9.7-inch, 10.5-inch, and 12.9-inch tablet. It is stated that the 10.5-inch iPad Pro will have the same design as the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. However, the 12.9-inch is touted to be thicker in size as compared to the other two variants.
Reports suggested that the new iPad Pro 2 might be launched with OLED display panel instead of the regular IPS LCD display. This new OLED display is touted to emit its own light, which will reduce power consumption, and thus provide the users with excellent device performance.
In terms of performance-related specs, the upcoming iPad Pro 2 is expected to be powered by the A10X chipset. Reports also touted that the device will provide the users with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage option.
Furthermore, it is rumored to consist of a 12-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front camera with true tone flash and 4K video recording functionality. Besides, if the rumors turn out to be true that the iPad Pro 2 will be released early next year, then it is expected to run on the latest version of iOS 10. However, if the release date of the device is postponed to September 2017, then it might feature the iOS 11.
