With the trade deadline fast approaching, the latest NBA rumors suggested that the Philadelphia 76ers and the Chicago Bulls might enter a deal involving center Nerlens Noel and power forward Nikola Mirotic.

Sports Rageous reported that the Philadelphia 76ers is keen on bringing Chicago Bulls' player Mirotic in place of Noel, due to his recent injuries and inconsistent performance. Reports also suggested that the 76ers are also planning to reshuffle their roster in order to vacate their overcrowded frontcourt.

ESPN's Marc Stein stated that the Philadelphia 76ers are looking for a talented forward and guard in order to balance their roster. This is touted to have paved the way for Noel straight onto the trading block and bring in Mirotic on the team's roster.

Furthermore, adding the 25-year-old player is expected to help the Philadelphia 76ers to improve their defensive skills in the frontcourt and thus, provide a tough competition to other teams in the NBA league.

On the other hand, the rumored trade scenario is also expected to help the Chicago Bulls, as they are not satisfied with Mirotic's performance in the current season. The NBA trade rumors suggested that Noel will provide the Bulls with excellent offensive and defensive skills and thus, make them one of the top contenders for the NBA league title.

It is rumored that Noel will be teamed up with Bull' shooting guard Jimmy Butler and point guard Rajon Rondo, which will help the team to put up high scores on the board in the Eastern Conference.

However, as of now, none of the teams have provided an official word on the rumored trade scenario involving Nerlens Noel and Nikola Mirotic.
