"Black Mirror" fans are now waiting for Season 4 after it has been confirmed by Netflix. Now, many are on the lookout for a "San Junipero" sequel with a known name in the helm.

In the case of last season's "San Junipero" episode, fans were moved by the story of Kelly and Yorkie, who were played by Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Mackenzie Davis. There are already speculations that "Black Mirror" Season 4 will include a sequel to "San Junipero," delving more into the corporation that operates the virtual world.

"'San Junipero' is our most romantic episode to date," Charlie Brooker said."It came about because I was wondering, 'Could we ever do a 'vintage' episode of Black Mirror? Could we ever do one that's not set in the present day? It's very much influenced by '80s cinema and '80s pop culture."

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, director Owen Harris confirmed that Kelly and Yorkie do indeed spend eternity together, though he describes the factors lurking beneath their happy ending.

"I can guarantee in the next two or three years people will make their own versions of San Junipero and they'll be on YouTube, they'll be everywhere. But whether we make one, I don't know. I would love to," Harris added.

Official synopsis for the episode reveals "Set on California, 1987, San Junipero is a fun-loving beach town synonymous with sun, surf, and sex. And for recent arrivals Yorkie (Mackenzie Davis) and Kelly (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), it's going to be a life-changing summer."

On the other hand, veteran actress Jodie Foster is reportedly taking the seat of the director. She is set to direct a season-four episode of Netflix's "Black Mirror."

"Black Mirror" Season 4 is expected to be released in early 2017.
