NBA Trade Rumors: Los Angeles Lakers Eyeing Detroit Pistons' Marcus Morris In Exchange For Julius Randle?

The latest NBA trade rumors hinted that the Los Angeles Lakers might soon enter a deal with the Detroit Pistons. Reports touted that the Lakers are keen on bringing in Pistons' power forward Marcus Morris along with shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and small forward Stanley Johnson on their roster before the trade deadline.

Jobs N Hire reported that the Los Angeles Lakers is planning to rebuild their team despite good performance in order to improve their ranking in the Western Conference. It is stated that bringing in Morris, Johnson, and Caldwell-Pope onto their roster will help the Lakers to achieve their goal.

Adding the trio is expected to help the Los Angeles Lakers team to enhance their offensive and defensive skills, which will help them to put up high scores on the board and provide a tough competition to other teams in the NBA league.

In order to lure the Pistons and thus, seal the deal with them, the Los Angeles Lakers might offer their power forward Julius Randle, point guard Lou Williams, and small forward Brandon Ingram in return.

On the other hand, few reports touted that even the Detroit Pistons will benefit from the rumored trade scenario. It is stated that Randle, Williams, and Ingram will provide the Pistons with excellent defensive skills on the frontcourt, which will thus, help the team to enhance their gameplay in the NBA season.

Reports suggested that all the three players from the Los Angeles Lakers team will be teamed up with center Andre Drummond and point guard Reggie Jackson in order to put up high scores on the board.

However, till now, none of the teams have officially commented on the rumored trade scenario comprising of the six players. So, these rumors should be taken with a grain of salt as of now.
