"Jurassic Park" fans, particularly the ones who have been craving to see a Virtual Reality experience for the franchise, should rejoice. The popular open-world dinosaur game from Studio Wildcard, "Ark: Survival Evolved," is now getting a standalone VR game called "Ark Park."

According to Snail Games executive producer, Sky Wu, on its PlayStation Blog post, fans who will jump in on "Ark Park" will get to have the chance to explore the land alongside the more than 100 unique species that were introduced in "Ark: Survival Evolved."

Aside from the exploration aspect of it, fans can also take advantage of the VR standalone game's social interaction whether it'd be between humans and dinosaurs or with other players in the multiplayer mode. Players will be able to capture the precious moments using the Snap mode or even use "Ark Park's" very own selfie stick, which will grant extra bonus points for the user.

Other activities that players can do in "Ark Park" include: solving puzzles through logic and collecting of gene cubes, which can be uploaded in the hub area to know more details about the creature.

Another interesting bit that players might get excited about in "Ark Park" is the fact that the upcoming VR standalone game will not come with a story mode, as said in the press release on Steam. It means that everyone can start their exploration as soon as they land inside the game.

Those who are excited, however, might have to wait a bit longer. As announced the PlayStation Blog, "Ark Park" isn't due to be out on all the supported platforms, mainly the PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, and HTC Vive, until sometime in 2017.

Unfortunately, Snail Games has yet to release any specific details regarding the release date for "Ark Park." More news about the matter should surface early next year.
