Here's a much-waited update for all Tom Clancy's The Division fans: the open world third-person shooter video game, developed by Ubisoft Massive, has released the Survival DLC for PlayStation 4 --- together with a patch that supports PlayStation 4 Pro.
With the updated patch allowing the user interface and menus to render at 4K resolution display, players who are playing on PlayStation 4 Pro will definitely experience better graphics while the game is running at 1080p. They will also find that the new upgrade has been done for better-looking reflections and shadows.
Although the Survival DLC is giving a smooth gameplay for most users on the platform so far, there were still some preliminary hang-ups during the release as numerous players reported receiving error messages. However, developers are already on the move to correct such problems, but also said that as players log back in, there might be some residual effects. If PlayStation 4 players see Survival listed as Offline, they will need to go to the PlayStation Store and download the Survival DLC to unlock it in the game as instructed.
The Division Survival DLC is 2.6GB in size and it will bring a whole new stuff for players to enjoy --- where players can also be on a mission to find a cure and to help humanity. For players who already own a Season Pass, they can immediately download the new DLC for free. But for those who don't own one yet, it will cost them $14.99.
Moreover, Ubisoft developers is set to release the game's third expansion: the Last Stand. This DLC is supposed to be released around winter of this year, but because of certain issues, it was delayed. Instead, it will be released next year on PS4, Xbox One, and PC simultaneously.
