Looks like a good news for ardent players of Square Enix's Final Fantasy XV; the game publisher has just rolled out a new update for the hit action role-playing video game. Arriving ahead of the game's Holiday Pack, which is slated to be up for grabs on Dec. 22, the Final Fantasy XV version 1.03 has free bonuses in the offing for players as well.

Before the Holiday Pack's arrival, players of Final Fantasy XV are now allowed to access the new photo frames with Prompto's photos. Currently live on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the latest patch also comes in at 3GB for both consoles.

The patch notes for the latest update encompass bug fixes, new games, and bonus content, which had already been revealed to be the following:

Warrior's Fanfare: A parchment of sheet music comprising of a song of joy that gives extra AP for earning an A+ in offense, aside from training.

Nixperience Band: This is a device that restricts experience points from being totaled, thus putting a lid on the party's chances of leveling up for an additional challenge.

Carnival Passport: A well-decorated ticket that takes the carrier away to a lively carnival for a limited time, according to ThisGenGaming.

No prizes for guessing, fans are going berserk over the live update, proving the fact that the unexpectedly early treat from the game publisher is the best holiday gift for the huge fanbase of Final Fantasy XV.

Players are exploring other bonus content like the photo feature as well, where they can choose from an array of themed photo frames that can be used for any of Prompto's numerous photographs, NovaCrystallis reported.

It is also important for players to bear in mind that once they start the New Game+, they will need to create a new save by themselves.

Among things that seem to be carried over from the previous update include costumes and settings, items, levels, weapons, and Ascension skills. However, the upgraded Engine Blade i.e. Ultima Blade will return to its aboriginal version and the Regalia will go back to its stock state in case the player altered it to an airship model. It's worth noting that the New Game+ does not provide any added difficulty levels aside from Easy and Normal. The enemy difficulty also remains unaltered.
