‘Total War: Warhammer’ Second Game Confirmed By Creative Assembly
Mark Jason AlcalaA "Total War: Warhammer" second game is now confirmed by developer Creative Assembly to be in the works via a recent post in the Total War forum. What is even more exciting is that the upcoming title is revealed to be the second game of a trilogy, which means that long-time gamers may reasonably expect a third game further down the line.
In the Total War forum, Creative Assembly detailed the various projects currently being handled by its developer teams. Eagle-eyed observers were quick to note that the Warhammer Team is currently working on another "Total War: Warhammer" game, the second of a trilogy.
At the moment though, not much is known about the upcoming "Total War: Warhammer" second game. However, based from what Creative Assembly teased via its post, it is something to get excited about. The developer promised tons of new content, further revealing that months of hard word by its art and animation teams have already produced some "jaw-dropping" animations.
But then the dearth of details is not enough deterrence to prevent its loyal fan base to formulate their own predictions of what the upcoming "Total War: Warhammer" title could bring. There are speculations that the second game could be set in the "New World," reports PCInvasion. Aside from the new campaign that the new game is expected to introduce, many believe that it may feature a new set of playable races such as the Ulthuan, Naggaroth and Lustria races.
Apart from the revelation of "Total War: Warhammer" second game production, Creative Assembly likewise revealed other exciting projects in the pipeline. For instance, its Digital Team is now mulling the entry into the increasing mobile games market via the "Total War Battles: KINGDOM." The developer plans to make the title playable on mobile devices via Facebook, its bet in gaining some share in the mobile gaming genre.
While the introduction of "Realm of the Wood Elves" DLC is a resounding success, Creative does not want to give its players a rest. Another "Total War: Warhammer" DLC is already in the works and currently being handled by its New Content Team, one that will upgrade Bretonnia into a full playable race and aimed for release by February 2017.
Meanwhile, Creative's Historical Team is now in the pre-production phase for a still unnamed historical Total War title. Stay tuned to MobilenApps for news and updates on these upcoming releases.
