Capcom Confims Classic Game 'Mega Man' Is Coming To Mobile Devices In January
Jason GlennCapcom's 1983 action-platform video game, "Mega Man" which is a classic game for the Nintendo Entertainment System will now be released in the both iOS and Android Devices. It was first reported this week that Capcom will be releasing the classic game in Japan.
The developer, Capcom has confirmed that starting January 2017 there will be six classic "Mega Man" games beginning from the original up until "Mega Man 6" according to WWG. Capcom also said that each game will cost $1.99 but there were no details on whether they will release a bundle deal for the avid fans of the game.
All six games will be based on the exact remastered games that were available on the Legacy Collection that was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, these games will be slightly modified for the mobile platform
"Mega Man" players will also have options to unlock bonus prizes in their mobile devices which include bonus wallpapers and more which will depend on how well you do in the game. The mobile reboot will mirror its console versions and will have tight platform control with boss battles, progressive, power ups and brutal difficulty according to Android Police.
Players will play a cyborg that will fight against the villain Dr. Will which adds powers from bosses as they are defeated. In the Capcom's press released the developer said that they will be optimizing with modifications to fit the game's speed to the mobile platform.
"These lovingly-crafted adaptations will remind long-time fans and introduce newcomers to what made the Blue Bomber such a popular and iconic character," said Capcom in their press release.
