The iPhone 8 is said to no longer be an extensive wait, although some suggest that it may not even be named as such. A few reports of the product's possibilities have gone all over the web, in which the fans are utterly waiting on dearly.

The recent release of the iPhone 7 struck a multitude of controversial feedback from those who stayed with the product from the very beginning. Now, it was said the next product could not even be considerably "eighth" in the line but, rather, an expansion of the existing -- namely the iPhone 7s.

Recent reports from Apple Insider state that there will be three new models to launch by 2017, one of which will be the highest in the lineup. Given the codename "Ferrari," one of the stand-out features that this model will don is a hotrod red color upon its debut. Respectively, the models are said to be given working assignments of D20, D21 and D22.

The D20 and D21 models are expected to be the iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus, but is still yet to be confirmed or announced. However, the aforementioned red-colored "Ferrari" is expected to have an AMOLED panel within the handset. In addition to that, the SIM card may be put along the bottom of the handset, given that there is a room allocation for the other internal parts-similar to the iPad Pro designs.

Interestingly, the iPhone 8 is expected, as well, to no longer carry the Home Button. Reports say it will, instead, go for a Touch ID fingerprint scanner. This will mean that the Apple device will not have use for the free space beneath it any longer, and as aforementioned, it will hold enough space for the more vital components, as Yahoo reports.

No release date has been given yet for the iPhone 8 or the other detailed units from Apple. For now, the specs stated and reported should be taken with a grain of salt.
