Instagram Live Rolls Out Its Version Of Facebook Live For Windows 10 And Mobile
Cris Xander JulianoSeveral weeks after Facebook Live has been released, Instagram Live followed suit and started rolling out their version for Windows 10 and mobile devices.
This update was announced just a month ago, although, it is only gradually being released so other users may have to wait a little bit longer to get their updates according to windowscentral.
Once you get this update, all you have to do is swipe right on your screen to enter your Story camera and from there, you can tap the toggle at the bottom of your screen to start broadcasting and share your videos to your friends and they can send hearts and make comments right from their mobile app.
There is one major difference from Facebook Live though, after users stopped broadcasting their videos live, it won't be available for replay and will disappear unlike in Facebook Live where users can view your broadcasted videos over and over again. This will bring a sense of urgency to users to watch immediately rather than later because they know that they won't be able watch the video again later.
According to mspoweruser, Instagram also received a few updates for Windows 10 adding new features. The update will bring snapchat-like features where you can send pictures that disappear after being opened. You can now also send stickers, emojis or drawings when using Instagram Direct. Users that are broadcasting have the ability to hide comments or block users that harasses them.
There is also a new section in the Explore tab where you can see Top Live Videos that are the most popular videos on Instagram. Did you receive your update yet for the new Instagram Live? Tell us all about it and write your comments down below to share your experience with us.
