PlayStation VR Launches Cinematic Experience via Jaunt App

PlayStation VR experience has just gotten better. PlayStation VR now comes with extra spice as the company recently announced the release of their new application called, 'Jaunt'. The "Jaunt" application is expected to rev up the virtual reality component of the said console with cinematic experience and a taste of new journey feels.

Jaunt App in PlayStation VRAccording to reports, the platform has solid functionality, with instant exclusive access to the 150 cinematic titles that come along with it from the start up. The application also comprises of videos with award-winning animations such as "Invasion", "CBS' JPL Mars 2020", "Zombie Purge" and "Shaq Goes to Cuba". It also comes along with the "Pure McCartney Experience" from the ex-Beatle himself. 

Jaunt App Review: What's in It? Not only that, the new Jaunt app is available for each VR platforms. Whether it is PlayStation VR, the iOS - everyone can experience it. The Jaunt app is also available for Android, Gear VR, Google Daydream, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. On top of that, it is also made in collaboration with other desktop browsers. Sony, on its latest news, has revealed support for the 360-degree Youtube videos as the company finds an opportunity to include more content to the headset.

It seems like Sony's system is currently laying its branches on different fields. Before the launch of PS VR, Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida stressed the importance of non-gaming and now this is the product of it.

For fans out there who has just gotten their PlayStation VR for Christmas, this would be a very good timing as the launch of the Jaunt app can definitely boost the Sony VR system.
