New ‘The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild’ Concept Art For Link Revealed; Nintendo Wishes Fans A Merry Christmas

Bryan Ke

New interesting concept arts and one character artwork for Link, the main protagonist of the upcoming highly anticipated title "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," have just been released by the game publisher and developer, Nintendo.

The first photo, which was posted on the official Facebook page of the franchise, shows Link relaxing inside a hut - complete with all the Holiday-themed decorations - on a snowy night. The interesting part, however, is the one he was with.

As what fans might notice, he can be spotted by the window standing beside his alternate form, Wolf Link, which was first introduced in the 2006 franchise installment "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess."

This doesn't, of course, mean that Nintendo will add a snowy - or Winter season, perhaps - to the game, despite it having a dynamic weather as one of its key features. It could just mean that Nintendo wants to wish all of its fans a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday.

There are some areas in "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" that have this kind of ambiance, though. As can be seen on the photo that the company published on Dec. 22, Link is spotted chilling in a camp along an active bonfire on a snowy mountainous part of the map called Hyrule.

A couple of days before the release of the Holiday-themed artwork, Nintendo released one interesting character art that showed Link sporting his cold weather attire.

It has already been revealed before that the temperature is also one of the most notorious elements that players might have to be careful for in "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," as the harsh weather can affect the character greatly.

Nintendo has yet to release any specific details for the release date of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild." It did, however, confirmed that the game will come out on the Wii U and Nintedo Switch platforms sometime in 2017.
