What You Should Know About 2017's iPhone 8

Apple has just released iPhone 7 and it has, without a doubt, the warmest welcome any phone could ever receive. It has been barely three months since owners had their chance to enjoy it however, some are already anticipating for the next-gen iPhone 8.

As confirmed by MacRumors, Apple is planning for a major redesign in 2017 and this involves a glass body and OLED display. It will also include a Touch ID fingerprint sensor and of course, a front-facing camera.

Apple iPhone 8 To Be Released in 2017. Next year, Apple will celebrate its 10th anniversary and it will not be a surprise to know that they will have a major plan for this celebration. The brand has been open about its ambitious plans and because of this, speculations are hitting everywhere.

As of now, the biggest rumor is about Apple testing more several prototypes of iPhone models. Some suggest that it will have a different design compared to the current and previous ones, with an edge-to-edge display and a Touch ID and camera will be built on it, leaving no place for any Home Button. Also, Jon Ive, the Chief Design Officer (CDO) of Apple, has always wanted to come out with an iPhone that seems like a single sheet of glass charged wirelessly.

Meanwhile, Forbes shared about how the iPhone 8 will have a curved screen. As for the body, speculations suggest that it will leave the "aluminum body" it used to have in iPhone 5, 5s, 6, 6s, and SE, and coming back to the one it used on iPhone 4, a glass body. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, a KGI analyst, iPhone 8's glass body will be built using around a stainless steel frame or aluminum.

With 2017 almost entering, there's still time for Apple to go through series developments and for now, it's still too early and for sure it will only take months or even weeks for us to learn more about iPhone 8's progress.
