"Rick and Morty" Season 3 just released a new sneak peek for the upcoming season of the Adult Swim series. Many fans were surprised when the network decided to release a new three-minute clip for the new season during the lifestream hosted by the network, reports Polygon.

In the said "Rick and Morty" Season 3 clip, Morty is listening to Jessica's conversation with her friends, which suddenly becomes quite intimate. Rick joins him in and pulls him away when he notices that the conversation is something that Morty should not be listening to.

This clip led to speculations that "Rick and Morty" will soon be released on air. It is a known fact that producing animated shows on TV can take a long time, especially since writers need to work on the storylines, hand it over to the network for approval, and translate those into images.

Co-creator Justin Roiland also shared a photo of the crew behind "Rick and Morty" Season 3 on Twitter. The photo's caption also teases fans that they should brace themselves for "spankin' new" episodes ahead.

This means that production for "Rick and Morty" Season 3 may soon be coming to an end, as the writers previously shared that writing for the show has ended in September. This also seemingly proves that Mr. Poopybutthole's comments about the show's return in March 2017 may be true after all.
