There is some great news for Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge users. According to latest reports, Android Nougat 7.0 and 7.1.1 is "imminent" for these Samsung phones which translate into the updates being in the pipeline. New reports and news indicate that the Galaxy Beta testing program is coming to an end soon and the final version of the software upgrade will be released to the Samsung users in some time.

If Samsung indeed delivers these promises, this also means good news for the owners and users of the former Samsung smartphones including Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. These phones may get their own upgrades in the coming times. The reports in November had first circulated the news that Samsung is developing the Android Nougat 7.0 and 7.1.1 updates to their flagship smartphone models. They were slated to develop these versions for Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge under the Galaxy Beta programming division.

Now as the reports further suggest, this testing is close to completion and the updates will be rolled out soon enough for the awaiting Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge users. We will be able to get our hands on the final build quite soon. The beta testing saw different beta testers trying to test out the Android update at a formative stage.

However, the upcoming release will be a proper and final experience. Nougat beta testers got a notice from the Company that informs them about the beta program ending with the year end of 2016. After that time, they will no longer be able to send feedback to Samsung via the Error report or Suggestion features of the Galaxy Members app. Instead, they'll have to send feedback via community in the future.
