"Civil War II" may have finally come to its end, but even with the conclusion, a proper closure is far from the expected. The clash of Marvel's heroes seem to have fans in quite a pickle with the way the novel ended. Be warned; there are spoilers that follow below.

After the rather influential run of the "Civil War" saga, the second part of the hero-versus-hero entry by Marvel has not ceased to do the same. "Civil War II" highlighted how Captain Marvel and Iron Man butted heads with each other to keep their own principles intact.

According to Comics Alliance, one of the most powerful points in "Civil War II" was after the tease of Iron Man losing the battle, with his helmet allegedly cracked as shown in the cover of the final issue. Sadly, as the particular saga comes to an end, it was reported that Tony Stark was, indeed, killed in the combat; one which made the fans slightly irate on the matter.

As part of a twist, it showed how Tony Stark was being carried by Miles Morales' Spider-Man in his arms. Although this may be ill-fated as Marvel has made a habit of bringing back characters after their deaths to elevate the hype.

One scene in "Civil War II" implied that Stark was doing something to his body for a long time -- one which rendered Hank McCoy curious on what his status is. It was divulged by the fans that Stark's brain will be put in an artificial body, but that was not completely what happened as his body was in a coma. Meanwhile, as per Gizmodo, the Inhuman Ulysses grew his powers drastically and teased potential future events in the Marvel field. This refers to the aptly-illustrated "Monsters Unleashed" or "Inhumans vs. X-Men," which are both considered power-hitters in the comic universe.

Moreover, Ulysses' visions hint that Ultron could return, as well as Miles Morales clashing once again against Steve Rogers and Thor returning. Despite the undeniable relevance of Ulysses in "Civil War II," his take within the tale spells lackluster since he serves as merely the instigator of the power struggle between the two loose cannons.

Overall, fans believe that there was not much to be surprised over in "Civil War II," especially with the expectation that Tony Stark will still be returning soon. No news on the continuity of the saga has been announced yet.
