"Dragon Ball Super" episode 73 is expected to hit TV screens this weekend and the anime series is believed to shift focus on Gohan. Entitled "Gohan gets made into a Film!?," the new "DBS" episode is said to see Goku's son get into a dangerous fight. See the full synopsis below.

"Evil can't be forgiven!! The ally of Justice, Great Saiyaman appears!! Unexpected events get Gohan in high spirits! The Great Saiyaman and Hercule will have their dream match in a movie! The Great Saiyaman is to be played by an actor called Barry Kaan but Gohan himself volunteers to be his stuntman in dangerous scenes."

As pointed out by Attack of the FanBoy, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 73 is just another filler episode as the anime gears up for a new arc this year. The upcoming arc titled "The Universal Survival Arc" is believed to center on a brand new fighting tournament that would involve the "DBS" heroes and fighters from 11 different "Dragon Ball" universes. Interestingly, Gohan will be part of the team to represent Universe 7, along with Goku, Vegeta, Master Roshi, Android 17, Android 18, Piccolo, Buu, Krillin and Tien.

As noted by Inverse, the new tournament may be the most epic fight that the "DBS" heroes may face. The battles may not come as easy to the Universe 7 fighters as several unknown competitors may also join the event organized by the king of all universes, Zen-Oh Sama. So to those who want to see the best fighters from each "Dragon Ball" universes, the new arc of "DBS" is a must see.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 73 air date is scheduled on Jan. 8 and the current storyline is expected to end on episode 76. The new arc, on the other hand, is slated to start on Feb. 7. Check out the latest teaser promo of "DBS" below.
