As a frequent moviegoer, it's been a habit of mine to go to the movie house 30 minute earlier to see my favourite part of movies, the trailers. Movie trailers give some kind of satisfaction of looking forward to my next visit and same for series trailers. With that said, here are some upcoming movie and series trailers 2017.

"ALIEN: COVENANT"

Alien: Covenant will be the first time that Ridley Scott will return to the Alien universe. It will be the first proper sequel he has made. The movie will be screened on May 19.

"BLADE RUNNER 2049"

The recently released trailer for the film had very beautiful shots that could have been pulled out from the original film. Starring Ryan Gosling, the eerie and mysterious movie is planned to be released on October 6, 2017

"TWIN PEAKS"

There were mixed reactions from the release of the Twin Peaks trailer. The series is set to return sometime in 2017.

"THE GOOD FIGHT"

From the series The Good Wife, which had garnered awards and a steady following, CBS has spun-off a new series based on it, The Good fight, for its streaming service. The series focuses on a woman working at a law firm, whose reputation was damaged by other parties. The series starts on February 19, 2017.

"A CURE FOR WELLNESS"

Gore Verbinski, after 15 years of The Ring's release, is returning with a Cure for Wellness, a mega-creepy thriller that begins in a wear downed office and most likely located in a remote forest. The movie will come out on February 17, 2017.

"THE EMOJI MOVIE"

Sarcasm can be felt throughout the trailer of this sardonically inspired film. The emoji movie will be screened on August 4, 2017.

"THE EXPANSE"

Some call it the "best science fiction show since Battlestar Galactica" and now the series is teasing with its second season. A short trailer that touches on what watchers have been finding so compelling. The second season of The Expanse will start on February 8, 2017.

"TABOO"

An eight-episode series coming to FX and BBC One this month. The story is set in 1814 London, about a shipping company. It may sound boring but it includes murder and other mysterious things too. It will be aired in the US on January 10, 2017.

"ISLE OF DOGS"

An animated movie from Wes Anderson with voices from Bob Balaban and Yoko Ono. The Isle of Dogs was initially thought of as a joke by other movie enthusiasts of the genre. The film will come out within this year.

"JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 2"

An action packed movie sequel of the action packed, killing spree prequel John Wick. The most number of deaths in a trailer could be awarded for this. The movie comes out on February 10, 2017.

"PREVENGE"

A weird, insane looking movie in a positive way. The movie comes out on February 10 for the UK and no planned release yet for the US.
