Good news for Ed Sheeran Fans in there! Sheeran, 25, finally announced on his social media account that he will be releasing "new music" this week. Reports are that the Ed Sheeran's upcoming new album will be titled "Divide." The singer posted a cryptic graphic with looks to be an animated division symbol against a sky blue background.

Previously, he shared a video on his Twitter account, holding up a paper where it was written: "New Music coming Friday!!" He can be seen dressed up in sweater with glasses. At the closing part of the video clip, the singer is seen with the paper on his mouth while waving in front of the camera. The post has a caption which says, "Hello 2017..." and was posted last Sunday, January 1.

Sheeran did not make any noise in any of his social media accounts for over a year. That is why this post of his might give a positive hysteria to Ed Sheeran community. His last post was two weeks ago which shows just a blue photo with no caption or comment on it. He highlights that his silence in social media is somehow distancing from the world, as what he says: "...taking a break from my phone, emails and all social media for a while". 

The Entertainment Weekly reported that Sheeran wanted to do something else aside from making music for the people; perhaps exploring and travelling the world. This could probably be the answer to the why the Top Billboard Chart singer has to be gone for a while.

One of TV personalities who are excited about this comeback? James Corden, according to an article posted by People. It is manifested in the talk show host's tweet saying, "Well, @edsheeran has already made 2017 epic as far as I'm concerned #friday". It's true that Sheeran has not only invaded fangirls' and music addicts' world but also the people in the field of television.

Just Jared reported that the singer made a promise last December 2015 of coming up with his third album and he stated that "it is on its way and is the best thing I have made thus far". Indeed a wonderful New Year's gift to his fans.
