The third "Clash of Clans" Clashmas gift recently introduced Ice Wizards and a number of other holiday-themed spells and features. A new video showed a couple of ways to take advantage of the special units and effects.

The Ice Wizard from "Clash Royale" arrived on "Clash of Clans" on Dec. 30, 2016 and will continue to be available until January 5. It follows the two previous Clashmas gifts, namely Freeze Trap and Santa's Surprise Spell. The Ice Wizard's are is generally the same as the Wizard in "Clash of Clans," although it costs less, writes AllClash. The "Clash of Clans" unit will also attack defenses, similar to what Hog Riders and Golems do, which would make a great offensive weapon.

A "Clash of Clans" gameplay video showed the new GoWiWi attack, composed of Golems, Wizards and Ice Wizards. The offensive strategy had the Golems draw fire from the towers, while the Wizards and Ice Wizards destroyed the enemy defenses. The Ice Wizards focused their attack on towers, slowing down their rate of fire with shards of ice. Slowed towers turn blue.

Similar to Wizards, the Christmas versions tend to enter the enemy base quite quickly, although they only have 172 hit points. "Clash of Clans" players have to be very careful when and where they will put the Ice Wizards. The Ice Wizards in "Clash of Clans" cost 4 housing space and have a movement speed of 16.

"Clash of Clans" players can also opt for a GoWiPe attack, comprised of Golems, PEKKA and Ice Wizards. The Ice Wizards will progress through the enemy base in the same way that a Golem or Hog Rider would, trying to take down all the towers first, before moving on to other structures. The Ice Wizards and Wizards can be used together, dropped last to ensure that they do not take much damage. Overall, the new unit is very effective in dominating enemy bases with defensive towers concentrated on a particular area.

Supercell is said to introduce more "Clash Royale" units in "Clash of Clans" limitedly. More updates and details on "Clash of Clans" are expected soon.
