Fans are clamoring to get a more solid announcement about the release of the "Pokemon Go" Legendary Pokemon update. While there is still no word from Niantic Labs, a new report suggests that the legends may not start landing on the title until spring of this year.

The Legendary Pokemon Release Date Theory

Niantic Labs is completely silent about the exact release of the first three Legendary Pokemon for "Pokemon Go." However, Slash Gear has an interesting theory that could potentially happen in reality.

First, the outlet clarifies that Niantic Labs is unlikely to roll out any updates based on the holidays that a year has. On the other hand, the outlet suggests that a Spring event could be the best time to roll out the highly anticipated "Pokemon Go" Legendary Pokemon update.

Spring is the time when people like to walk outside without any outfits that require layers for protection from snow or rain. It is also that time of the year when birds are out fluttering and making melody with their chirps. While this may not have a very solid connection with the "Pokemon Go" Legendary Pokemon update, it should be noted that the first three Legendary Pokemon that will be rolled out this year are under the bird Pokemon species. These monsters are: Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno.

The outlet is known for providing information from a reliable but anonymous insider who is close to the "Pokemon Go" circle. So far, all of the international events that has taken place for the hit mobile game has first been reported by the outlet even before Niantic made an official announcement. On the other hand, the developer has yet to address the theory and the release of the "Pokemon Go" Legendary Pokemon update has also yet to be declared.

What's Niantic Been Up To?

Meanwhile, The Daily Express notes that Niantic has had a very hectic holiday season. The Christmas event that kicked off on Christmas Day started off with giving away free Incubators for players. New gift packs also were also available for fans to grab on the "Pokemon Go" in-game store.
