Red Xbox One Controller Is Bound To Release This Month
Caroline SorianoGaming consoles, including its controllers, are typically black in color. But, it's not the same case with Xbox 360 which is coming out with the trendiest colors to choose from. A new red Xbox One controller is coming this month.
Xbox One has already released white controllers and camouflage design, according to GameRant. Producing colored controllers will allow gamers to personalize their choice while adding to the player's gaming experience. And on January 10, the brand will add another color to its family and sell red Xbox One controllers which will be available at GameStop and Microsoft store for about $65 each.
Tagged as the "classic" red by GameStop, the red Xbox One controllers will showcase the same shade of red used by Xbox 360 before. It will be a newer version, though and will support a 3.5mm headphones without depending on any adapter. It will provide Bluetooth functionality while having a greater range compared to the original Xbox One controller.
The best thing about the red controller is that it can be used on PCs without requiring any update on the device. This will be useful especially now that Xbox gamers can play varieties of games in their PCs through Xbox Play Anywhere program. Aside from the PC games, the red controller also supports games on tablet devices.
GameSpot shared that this is not the first red Xbox One controller since Microsoft has also released a red Gears of War- inspired controller before. This controller should satisfy any gamer's desire for red controllers. Additionally, they can grab a red Xbox One controller from Xbox Design Lab. The said company allows gamers to have personalized controllers which mean they have the option to change any of the part's color.
The idea of having a red Xbox One controller is quite good as it will be nice to have varieties to choose from. This will avoid controllers to become plain and dull and gamers will have additional reasons to play.
