As the gaming universe continues to explore various virtual reality possibilities, Cerevo, a Japanese manufacturer, has unveiled its Taclim at CES 2017. The Taclim includes a pair of controllers that are used as gloves, and VR shoes for a wild kicking experience.

The Taclim VR shoes have been created for the purpose of giving gamers a closer feel of how it's like to walk inside a game. The accessories' official website says hitting an enemy's body with the devices will give players a soft feeling. On the other hand, if a shied is punched or kicked, fans will feel that whatever they hit is hard.

The website goes on to claim that the Taclim VR shoes and controllers aren't just for gamers. Non-gamers can also get the accessories for the purpose of getting a feel of how it is to walk in a "VR space." Users can also explore other locations such as water, grass, and even sand.

According to Engadget, the Taclim VR shoes and controllers are in the prototype stages, which means it may take more time than expected to produce them. In fact, Cerevo reportedly used the CES 2017 event to get insights, recommendations, and comments on the VR accessories.

The outlet's review of the Taclim VR shoes also noted that it is difficult to stay balanced while wearing the pair. It's also hard to kick with true force - an issue that Cerevo may need to look into if it desires to provide an improved VR experience for the gaming community.

Tech Crunch adds that another problem with the Taclim VR shoes is standing up from a seating position is difficult. The outlet refers to the walking and kicking experience with the devices as "strange."

The new VR shoes and controllers are expected to be out sometime fall. However, fans should note that the VR accessories are being prioritized for business owners. The accessories will be tagged at around $1,000 to $1,500.
