Dataminers Discover Vvardenfall Map Hidden Within 'Elder Scrolls Online'

Switchy Sam

"Elder Scrolls Online" sets the theme in a faraway fantasyland with dragons, potions, summoners, magic, and adventures. Recently, the "One Tamriel" update was a blast and many players enjoyed completing quests in exchange for bounty and rewards. Now, data miners have found a map of the main location from "The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind," the volcanic island of Vvardenfell hidden within the files of The Elder Scrolls Online.

The founder of the files is someone named FloorBelow, according to PCGamesN. In addition to the map, tile sets for Redoran, Molag Mar, Vivec, Dunmer strongholds and Dwemer ruins were also found.

Future updates should be a focal point for Morrowind fans

Just like other games with hidden files, tile sets for these areas might be the resources for the future update, which is Vvardenfall. FloorBelow posted it on the Reddit thread and revealed a volcanic area. It is truly nostalgic and thrilling to look forward to this as a future update that will include more items, monsters, new NPCs and quests. As other online games are constantly updating their database and expanding it, Vvardenfall will be another important and nostalgic addition to "Elder Scrolls Online." Some fans are also looking forward to seeing locations from other Elder Scrolls series such as Whiterun.

Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind anniversary is coming up

Morrowind fans should prepare what is up in "Elder Scrolls Online" because the expected future update might just be another way that they can reminisce the times spend in Vvardenfall in the third Elder Scrolls series. Moreover, as PCGamesN mentions the 15th anniversary of Morrowind, this is one proof that the Vvardenfall will be a commemoration of that event.  Until then, players and fans should wait for further announcements regarding this huge discovery.
