A Comparison Between Snapdragon 835 and Snapdragon 821 Proccessors
Jomst C.Qualcomm has officially released details on the newest Snapdragon 835 during their Keynote at CES. The Snapdragon 835 offers improvements overall, and the company has included a lot of new features, including Bluetooth 5, 802.11ad Wi-Fi, gigabit LTE and more.
The older version, the 14nm Snapdragon 820/821 was not bad, but the change to the 10nm node has given the company a capability to register huge gains in performance and energy efficiency. The Snapdragon 835 is almost 27 percent faster and consumes less power by 40 percent. The overall size of it is 30 percent smaller compared to its older versions.
Aside from the difference in the node from 14nm to 10nm, listed below are the key areas where the SoC has improved from the last year's SoC.

We will still have to wait until the new Snapdragon 835 gets used in devices, which is expected to happen in the later part of this quarter before we can have a detailed review and compare it to the older Snapdragon 820/821. Although, based on the node shrink and the hardware, it will take another year for the company in the premium mobile SoC bracket, presumably.
