Instagram For iPhone 7 & 7 Plus Now Supports Wider Display & Great Color Capture

Good news, Apple live photos can now be directly converted into Boomerangs! You can now post GIFs to Instagram Stories even if it isn't from the standalone Boomerang app. Aside from that, iPhone users can now share even more vividly, as Instagram on the iPhone 7/7plus now supports great color capture and display. Recently, Mike Krieger, Instagram co-founder, announced the new features have been rolled out completely and don't need an app update.

Last September, the company first announced iPhone 7 specific features, during the device's launch, which included the Live Photo conversation features and wider colors to boomerang. Also included are one finger zoom feature for the iPhone 7, special color filter, and instant access to the Instagram Stories through 3D touch.

The additional colors may be difficult to see, but they're surely there. The new filters for the iPhone 7 can bring out the extra hues for photos it captures. To convert a Live Photo into a Boomerang, you just have to open the Instagram Stories cam, swipe up the screen to upload photos, and then select one of the Live Photos shot within the day. While on Preview, give it a deeper 3D touch to the screen, the little loading wheel will prompt, and then the Live Photo will appear as a Boomerang that you can share.

With the competition between Instagram and Snapchat, Facebook is also trying to get every angle that it can get. Snapchat specialises in funny selfie lenses and illustrates geofilters for unique places, while Instagram has chosen a more robust artful approach, with various brushes and location stickers that are adaptable anywhere in the world.
