Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) teased the tech and gadget community with a preview of it's highly anticipated Ryzen Motherboard at the 2017 Las Vegas CES. Although tech giant AMD is yet to reveal a release date for its new Ryzen motherboard, pundits believe that the new powerful AMD Ryzen motherboard will be made available on the first quarter of 2017.

Thought the Ryzen + Vega demo kiosk at the Las Vegas CES 2017 did not really give away a lot of information about the new AMD Ryzen, some information about the new AMD motherboard were leaked to the crowd present at the AMD booth during the 2017 Las Vegas CES.

One interesting piece of information about the new Ryzen is that it will not only be launched for high-end 8core 16 thread AMD models similar to those which were showcased in the Ryzen + Vega demo kiosk at the Las Vegas CES 2017. Another information about the AMD Ryzen that was revealed in the CES 2017 is that the Ryzen AMD motherboard will have a base clock of 3.6GHz and a turbo clock of 3.9GHz.  The speeds were considered to be really impressive especially since the product demoed is only an engineered sample of the Ryzen and not the actual final AMD Ryzen motherboard model.

The turbo clock rate of the Ryzen model is already higher by .2GHz compared to Intel Core i7-6900K which was measured to have a turbo clock rate of 3.7GHz. With these figures, the AMD Ryzen motherboard is already geared to compete with its Intel counterpart in the gaming platform.

Ryzen along with the other new chips from AMD will utilize a unified AM4 socket. The use of AM4 socket would mean that users can actually drop the new Ryzen motherboard to any AM4 motherboard without any issue.
