Despite the cancellation of TV show "Limitless" last year, many fans of the show are still clamoring for a second season. Online petitions for the show to have another season continue to surface online.

Online petitions continue

One petition has already gathered more than 44,000 supporters with many supporting the idea that "Limitless" was a great TV show and that it deserves to have another season. Some also claimed that the plot of the show was what made it very interesting for viewers.

California resident Christian B, who was among those who signed the online petition, noted that the scenes and the storyline of "Limitless" were intense and flawless. "That's why I feel as if this show is best suited for Netflix, as it gives you the full cohesive story in one blow, which is perfect for a show as deep and complex as Limitless," he added.

Deserving of Season 2

Another online petition on change.org explained that the hilarious TV series should not just end with a single season but needs to be extended. It lamented on the reason why the show was suddenly pulled by CBS.

More than 1,100 users have already supported the petition and most of them said that they loved the story of "Limitless" and want to see more of it. They reasoned that if many loved the show, there should have been no reason why it should have been cut in the first place.

Cancellation announcement

In May last year, CBS decided to cancel "Limitless" after airing for just one season. The network claimed that it tried to find another platform to air the continuation of the show but did not find any.

Reports indicated that CBS tried to offer the show to Amazon and Netflix but to no avail. Do you also want to see another season for Limitless?
