Twitter has just released its brand new feature -- live 360 video and Airbnb is one of the first brands which took advantage of it. The online accommodation platform is drawing its hosts and local insiders to exhibit a range of its homes and experiences which await its future guests on its recently launched "trips" initiative. Live streaming is known to be one of the famous features of 2016 and hopefully, this one could inspire many of the said marketplace's consumers.

This January 2017, Airbnb broadcasted its live-stream called "Cameroon Fusion" experience and it includes hosting an at-home cooking class by Carnie, Airbnb's host, who prepared a Cameroonian-inspired meal with her guests. The host's place, Brixton, South London, has starred a half an hour live 360 video which allows its users to navigate to action around the room by controlling their smartphones or clicking the cursor on their desktop.

The broadcasted live video of Airbnb's official Twitter account has gained more than 455,000 views. It was also seen in the company's Periscope account. "Join us in London! Jump into an Airbnb experience on #Periscope360." Carnie tweeted as she instructed the viewers to watch the entire room by tilting their phones. For those who have missed the live stream, they will still have a chance to view more Airbnb's live 360 videos on January 7 which will give viewers a chance to experience a home tour in Kauai, Hawaii. It will then feature another experience in Detroit city on the following day. (via Digital Trends)

Meanwhile, Airbnb's head of social, Americas Jasmine Atherton shared a sentiment about it and she said that what's unique about bringing Airbnb experience, through live 360 videos, is that they are able to bring people together.
