Razzie Awards 2017: Nominations For Worst Film To Include 'Assasin's Creed' & 'Batman v. Superman'?

Just as the Golden Globes commemorate and acknowledge the best cinematic results and movies of a year, the Raspberry Awards, popular known as the "Razzies" acknowledge the worst movies. They pick the worst of the worst movies. This year, the most pre-nominations for the worst titles of 2016 have been bagged by "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice".

This list of nominations is an unofficial one released by Heroic Hollywood. They peg the Zack Snyder-directed "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" to have 8 total nominations. These titles include several movie categories including Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Screenplay, Worst Prequel, Remake, Ripoff or Sequel, and Worst Actor for both Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill. And this is just a handful from the entire list. Another movie, "Suicide Squad" produced by Warner Bros has four nominations. This list is not the final list, which is slated to be officially be released on January 23 itself. So kindly do not start the hate stream just yet!

However, it must be noted that "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" is a movie that received extremely mixed responses from fans and critics alike. Of course, it did not live up to the entire potential and expectations, especially considering the top of the class cast including Amy Adams, Gal Gadot with the reveal of the "Justice League" characters.

Do Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill really deserve the worst actor nominations? Will the movie "Gods of Egypt" make an appearance in the final list? The proposed list also includes duds like "Dirty Grandpa" and "Collateral Beauty". Other major films for inclusion in Razzie Awards 2017 include "Assassin's Creed", "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows", "Zoolander 2", "Alice Through the Looking Glass", "Ghostbusters", "The Divergent Series: Allegiant", "Independence Day: Resurgence", "London Has Fallen" and more.
