"Mafia 3," an action-adventure video game, was developed by Hangar 13. It was, however, published by 2K Games which was made available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, OS X, and Microsoft Windows. It is a franchise of the Mafia series which was released on October 7, 2016.

Set in the year 1968, "Mafia 3" is about an African-American orphan named Lincoln Clay. He was by the "black mob" of New Bordeaux and after working in Vietnam war under the special-forces unit, he went back to New Bordeaux to reunite with Sammy Robinson, his surrogate father, and Ellis, his adopted brother.

The war started after his family was murdered and Lincoln was left almost dying. After regaining his health back, he partnered with John Donovan, his CIA handler, to get his revenge on his family's murderer. The game's plot has acquired many gamers worldwide and now, it has upgraded itself by being available to PS4 Pro. (via Polygon)

"Mafia 3" has added so many improvements for PS4 Pro and it's just one of the many reasons why gamers should play this game. For PS4 Pro gamers, the version holds a clear progression over base PS4 models especially if they have a 4K TV. (via GameZone)

2K Games released PS4 Pro support for "Mafia 3" via 1.05, the most recent patch. Digital Foundry reported that the support an all new video which promotes comparison with the base PS4 and the PS4 Pro version. Several game improvements also include the 1440p resolution output, motion blur, and its spotlight shadow quality during dark scenes. This means that the game has reduced pixelation compared to its previous version.

Moreover, the frame pacing, which has been one of the common concerns before, has been finally resolved. Now, the game has eliminated the frame stuttering issues although there are still visible frame dips.

"Mafia 3" has not reached its expected hype before however, it's still one of the fastest selling game in 2K's history. Hopefully, these major changes can bring the excitement that the brand is hoping for.
