A 476MB download, "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition" update 1.05 or Update 1.3 is now available on PlayStation 4. The update was previously released on PC and will be arriving to Xbox One soon, Bethesda announced.

It took a while for "Skyrim: Special Edition" to receive a patch, but the good folks at Bethesda seem hell-bent on enhancing its popular game that launched 2016. Update 1.05 offers general fixes for stability and better performance, and it also addresses more specific issues that will improve the game in general.

According to PlayStation Lifestyle, the patch is available for PS4 and PC players for now and it comes with improved support for 144hz PC monitors. Overall, the developers addressed log in issues at Bethesda.net, fixed the formerly misbehaving Slow Time effects and improved the game's stability and performance.

As of this writing, there haven't been any reports about patch misbehavior, given "Skyrim: Special Edition" had a history of its patches contributing to additional problems. Several months back, the game suffered technical issues on its PC and console versions, with players reporting gameplay freezes and crashes, GameRant reported.

Despite the game's previous problems, however, the remastered version still went on to become one of Amazon's best-selling games of 2016. "Skyrim: Special Edition" even crawled its way up on the top ten list as one of Bethesda's best-selling titles when it debuted in October 2016.

Bethesda reportedly has no plans to release another "Elder Scrolls" games at the moment, Peter Hines himself, the studio's VP for Marketing and PR, confirmed. Fans will have to enjoy Update 1.05 for now and hope that "Skyrim: Special Edition" will have a Nintendo Switch version, when the console launches later this year.

A complete list of mods is available at Bethesda. "Skyrim: Special Edition" is available for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
