Instead of fighting creatures of the dark, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) have a hard time with humans this time. The latest "Supernatural" spoilers see the Winchester boys still in jail -- and the Secret Service has no plans of releasing them both.

After the winter break, "Supernatural" Season 12 Episode 9 returns to The CW with Sam and Dean still in prison. The presidential guards will not be releasing them anytime soon, as Lucifer (David Chrisum), who posed as the POTUS, accused the Winchesters of being assassins.

According to TVLine, there will be a six-week time jump in "Supernatural" Season 12 Episode 9, as confirmed by Andrew Dabb, the show's executive producer himself. For six weeks, Mary (Samantha Smith) and Castiel (Misha Collins) will remain clueless on how to free Sam and Dean. The brothers are put in a situation they have never been before -- fighting human beings instead of scary monsters and ghosts.

"We'll see how Sam and Dean act in that period of isolation, but also how the rest of the world reacts, as well -- specifically Cas and Mary and some other players," Dabb said, dropping "Supernatural" spoilers. The people that have them think they're real, legitimate criminals... Sam and Dean [are] facing something where it's not like they can do what they normally do," the executive producer added.

The CW Television Network promo also holds major "Supernatural" spoilers, as it shows a crestfallen Sam and Dean losing hope with the whole situation. Mary and Castiel are also shown confused on how to explain that the devil had possessed the president. Meanwhile, the brothers will have to call jail their home if they cannot find a way to escape.

"Supernatural" Season 12 Episode 9 will air January 26 on CW. It will air at a new time slot of 8 p.m., instead of the regular 9 p.m.
