‘Tekken 7’ Update: Bandai Namco Refutes February Release Date Rumors; Game's PC Version Gets Confirmed!

Bandai Namco has officially refuted the "Tekken 7" western release date rumors. Previously, Komplett noted that the latest game in the popular fighting franchise was scheduled to hit the shelves on Feb.12, 2017 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The retailer even made similar claims to the fans as well, confirming that they were given the Western release date through the suppliers. But, Bandai Namco came into the discussion and denied these seemingly legitimate rumors.

According to Andreas Juliusson, the product manager at the Northern branch of Bandai Namco, the false date has been a reason of Komplett's limited details on the upcoming product. His statement further confirmed that "Tekken 7" is not going to release on Feb. 12, 2017. He further noted that the company had told the retailers to keep it as a transitory date till the real date is decided. Juliusson has confirmed that the game will have an official Western release date arriving sometime later this month.

It's been a few months since "Tekken7" released in Japan. And, since then the western side of the globe is eagerly waiting to try the new brawler. We expect the "Tekken 7" western release to happen in Q1 2017.

Expect "Tekken 7" for PC as well

Bandai Namco has confirmed this for the very first time that the game will have a PC version other than Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions. But, there have been rumored noting that "Tekken 7" will exclusively come for the Windows 10. We want our readers to know that this is just a speculation as we can find the game's page enlisted on Steam as well. But, it is not available for pre-ordering for now. This makes it hard to decide whether it will only release for the Windows 10 Store.
