‘Dead Island 2' Gets Delayed Further? Expect A Completely New Story & Gameplay
Jai SabharwalIt has been a while since we heard about the upcoming horror game "Dead Island 2." Moreover, nothing looks sure about the game's release anymore. Developers promised a launch in 2016, but it got delayed. And, now we have 2017 going on, but there is still no confirmation about the game and its release date. Does this mean that the game is officially not happening?
After the success of the first game in the series, fans eagerly waited for "Dead Island 2" to come out. But, there have been delays in the game's release due to its passing on from developer to developer. And, it seems like the developing part is still going on. But, we are still not sure of whether this delay will carry on as we are not getting any official news about it from the developers working on it.
From the looks of it, there is a speculation that the delay in "Dead Island 2" is caused due to the developing team Sumo Digital. Further notes have come up suggesting that the team wants to reboot the game completely adding in a new gaming mechanics and story line. This might be the very reason for the over delay in the game.
There is still no clue of when "Dead Island 2" will release for the public, Deep Silver says that the game is still under development. So, fans should not lose their hopes just yet. What more is expected of the game is whether it will be as good as the previous one or not? Moreover, if the rumours about a new storyline and gameplay is true, then will they be able to maintain the success of the previous title in the series?
We will find that out once there is an official news from the developers about the "Dead Island 2" launch date. Till, then let's keep our finger crossed.
