‘For Honor’ Closed Beta: Don’t Miss Your Chance To Sign Up! Launch Date, Details Inside
Jack PetersonGame Publisher Ubisoft took to Twitter to announce that "For Honor" closed beta is coming out on Jan. 26. Expected to run for four days, the beta version of the upcoming online and slash action game is slated to end on Jan. 29. However, interested players should first sign up through the official "For Honor" website in order to get the chance to play the game.
On Jan. 10, Ubisoft delighted fans with the confirmation of the launch date of "For Honor" closed beta via Twitter where it also provided a link to its official blog that revealed more details about the event. As mentioned above, those who want to participate in the closed beta game should register first but it was not clearly stated how the game publisher would pick the qualifiers. Nevertheless, players are recommended to sign up here before it closes. Reportedly, the registration opened since December last year according to GameSpot but nothing specific was announced as to when it will close.
Registering for the closed beta version not only gives players the opportunity to be one of the first players to enjoy the unique and exciting combat of "For Honor." According to the site, players could also win rewards exclusive to the beta joiners in addition to some gears and latest news and updates about the game. Interestingly, players may transfer such rewards to the full game when it launches.
Meanwhile, Ubisoft revealed that the closed beta game will let players step in a battle called "War of the Factions." Each group, the Knights, the Samurai and the Vikings will be at war and players will have to see for themselves what it looks like to be in the world of "For Honor." To make things more exciting, some rewards also await the top faction so gamers are advised to perform well as their stats will be tracked across all gaming platforms.
"For Honor" closed beta is available on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The full game version is slated to ship on Feb. 14. Check out the first look at the game below.
