Freeform on Tuesday revealed that 'The Fosters' will be back for Season 5, which will see the family series hit its 100-episode milestone. "The Bachelor" franchise spinoff "Happily Ever After?" will also return for Season 2, the network announced.

Created by Bradley Bredeweg and Peter Paige, "The Fosters" revolves around the lives of a blended family from Long Island, led by a lesbian couple. The TV series is a recipient of a GLAAD Media Award and a Television Academy Honors, according to Variety.

"The Fosters" Season 5 is expected to outperform Season 4, which averaged a 0.38 live-plus-same-day Nielsen rating among 891,000 total viewers, during the first half. The mid-season finale hit a 0.44 demo rating among 989,000 viewers when it aired in Aug. 29, 2016 on Freeform.

The show's creators haven't revealed the plot for "The Fosters," although in January 31, Season 4 resumes with Episode 11  tilted "Insult to Injury." This is where Jesus (Jake T. Austin) is knocked out during a fight with Nick (Louis Hunter). Episode 11 will also see Callie (Maia Mitchell) in a compromising situation, after deciding to go for a ride with Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) and Troy.

Meanwhile, "Happily Ever After?" which is now titled "The Twins: Happily Ever After?" will shift its attention to Emily and Haley Ferguson, stars of "The Bachelor" Season 20. It will return on Monday, March 20.

Apart from "The Fosters" Season 5 and "Happily Ever After?" renewals, Freeform also announced that both "Baby Daddy" and "Young & Hungry" will be back on air with new episodes, starting Monday, March 13. "The Bold Type," formerly known as "Issues," has also been picked up by the cabler to be turned into a series. Based on the life of Hearst Magazines' Joanna Coles, the series stars Katie Stevens (Faking It), Aisha Dee (Chasing Life) and Melora Hardin (Transparent), TVLine reports.

"The Fosters" returns for Season 4B on Tuesday, January 31, at 8/7c. Freeform is yet to announce the launch window for "The Fosters" Season 5.
