"Prison Break" Season 5 will see the return of Michael Scofield despite his apparent death in the Season 4 finale. While questions surrounding Michael's return from the grave will be answered in the Fox revival, spoilers are hinting on an emotional and heartbreaking reunion between Michael and Dr. Sara Tancredi.

"Prison Break" Season 5 spoilers reveal that Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) and Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) will have a heartbreaking reunion. During the Television Critics Association, series creator Paul Scheuring said that there will be more than just tension between Michael and Sara, reports Yahoo! News.

"We want to create those kinds of complexities within the narrative, so it's not just tension," he said. "I don't think it's just a love triangle."

As most fans know, the "Prison Break" revival will be introducing Sara's new husband, Jacob Ness (Mark Feuerstein). According to Scheuring, Jacob will help Sara find a way to get Michael out of the Yemen prison; however, he will also be torn knowing that Sara might leave him for Michael.

Sara may not welcome Michael with open arms despite the fact that fans and viewers are looking forward to the "SaMi" reunion, as she raised their son alone thinking that Michael was already dead. "Prison Break" Season 5 spoilers from Deadline tease that the upcoming season will make the characters question if Michael is the same person they knew years ago.

"Michael doesn't come out of the gates compromised," said Scheuring.

"Prison Break" Season 5 recently released a new trailer for the upcoming season of the show. Alongside the release of the trailer came the announcement that the Fox revival will be airing on April 4 at 9 p.m.
