HTC U Ultra Specs, Latest News: A Secondary Display Reminds Of LG & Samsung Hybrid - Photos LEAKED!
Niyati S.HTC's next smartphone will be out sooner than expected in the market. Currently, the device is codenamed "Ocean Blue" or HTC Ultra U. Last year, HTC 10 earned a lot of appreciation, albeit in a restricted number of people. However, the HTC made Google Pixel did quite well and it wasn't too shabby a year for the HTC brand.
Now, leaked pictures reported to Android Police, suggest a new model HTC Ocean Blue which is shown to have glass covering both the back side and front side. It also shows that the phone has an aluminium frame in the middle. This is a huge departure from the metallic body smartphone models that HTC has been known for through the recent years.

The phone, being dubbed as HTC Ultra U, also shows a secondary display in the top right corner of the phone. This is similar to LG V10 or V20. The pictures suggest that this secondary functionality will include weather widgets, battery indicators and different shortcuts for apps. Hopefully, HTC is working on offering something more than just these standard features already brought forward by its competitors. The backside of the phone has a rounded square camera (which, when combined with the glass body, reminds everyone about Samsung).
The SIM card tray is on the top side with a mic with side power button and volume controls. The USB Type-C port is on the bottom side and it does not feature a headphone jack, much like "Bolt" previously released. HTC began making an announcement scheduled for Jan. 12 at 3 AM ET from the previous week itself. "It is all about U" is the company's tagline for the coming smartphone. It is a suggestive hint for HTC U Ultra. Rumoured HTC Ultra U features and specifications include a 6-inch QHD display, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage along with the brand new Snapdragon 835 processor.
